Gameplay

It has a lot of new puzzles and features: you can play both Skipper and Suzy; lots of facts about endangered and fascination animals; more than 85 locations; collect mysterious items and solve fun puzzles; fight Mr. Shade and his mechanical spiders.

Characters

Locations and items

There's a total of 87 locations divided between 9 floors. On top of that it's possible to warp to a "void" room with cheat codes. For a full list of all locations, see the locations page.

There's a total of 63 collectable items and 5 you can gain by assembling or processing items. For a full list of all items, see the items page.

Easter eggs and cheat codes

The game has these codes that can be entered and change the gameplay in various ways as described. These have been found by inspecting the source code. This also means it hasn't been possible to confirm all they do, but effects has been figured out by trying them out in the game.

Some things worth mentioning when using the codes:

  • The codes can be entered in either lowercase or uppercase, but are shown here in uppercase as that's how they're usually presented (in the source code) and that's hopefully easier to read.
  • When the code has been successfully entered a sound will play. Note that this plays even if it doesn't change anything (for instance when trying to add an item you already have in your inventory)

LOCATION Needs to be followed by a location number as described by the location page Goes to the middle of the location specified by the number. For instance entering "LOCATION47" will move you to the middle of the room with the gian butterfly on 2nd floor.

If you haven't picked to unlock either Skipper or Suzy the following however applies:

  • It is possible to travel, but only Skeeto will be in the screen
  • It isn't possible to pick up things or move to other rooms the regular way
  • It isn't possible to read signs, but the information about the animals can still be read aloud
  • It seems like (at least in the Danish version) that it's Suzy that's supposed to be there. The narrator for instance says: "As Suzy enters the room she..."
ITEM Needs to be followed by a item number as described by the items page Adds the item specified by the number to your inventory. For instance entering "ITEM130" adds the feather to your inventory. Furthermore this applies:
  • A bit like in usual gameplay:
    • Items that are of same kind (like the papers or the candy) will stack
    • Adding items via the code will still remove the item from the floor, like you've picked it up
    • Items will be picked up if they're left on the floor if the code is entered
  • It is not possible to add an item you already have, but the "code accepted" sound will still play
  • It is possible to add an item that has previous been used (for instance the key in the first room). The item can also be left on the floor, but can not be picked up again by Skipper/Suzy
  • Entering a number that's not present in the items list might crash the game or leave it hanging
