Magnus & Myggen is the Danish title of the franchise. Magnus is a common Danish boys name[1]. Myggen directly translate to The Mosquito.

As far as it's known, all games, series and books were created in Danish and originally published by Ivanoff Interactive.

They've been taken over by Krea Medie at some point. In November 2012, Krea Medie (including this franchise) was sold to Egmont Kids Media[2].
